TotalEnergies becomes Aircalin's supplier at Paris-Charles de Gaulle
As long-standing partners in Noumea, Papeete and Wallis and Futuna, TotalEnergies and Aircalin are extending their collaboration to supply aviation fuel at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) from 1 July 2025.
This agreement marks an important step in the relationship between TotalEnergies and Aircalin, which is based on trust and proximity, and is part of a joint approach to helping reduce emissions in the aviation sector.
This is why, at CDG and in compliance with Refuel EU Aviation regulations, Aircalin uses an aviation fuel containing 2% SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
This SAF is produced by TotalEnergies in Europe from waste and residues from the circular economy, such as used cooking oil, and reduces CO2 emissions over the entire life cycle compared with a fossil equivalent.
New Caledonia's international airline, Aircalin has historically operated flights between the French Pacific territories and France, as well as to Port-Vila, Fiji, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Singapore and Bangkok. Its stated ambition is to evolve from a regional player in Asia and the Pacific to an airline operating extra-long-haul services. This was illustrated in 2024 with the opening of a Noumea-Paris route via Bangkok, currently the longest one-stop flight in the world.
Through this new agreement, TotalEnergies is demonstrating its commitment to helping its aviation customers meet their development challenges and reduce their CO2 emissions.
