Europe: TotalEnergies will supply renewable electricity to Airbus in Germany and the United Kingdom

Paris, February 5, 2026 - TotalEnergies and Airbus, one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, have signed two contracts to supply 3.3 TWh of “clean firm power” to all of Airbus’s major sites in Germany and the United Kingdom.

The electricity supplied to Airbus over the next decade will have a continuous “baseload” delivery profile and will come from new renewable energy assets with a capacity of 200 MW. This supply will cover half of the electricity needs of the sites in question, starting in 2027.

Following last year's announcement of our partnership in sustainable aviation fuels, we are pleased to sign these power purchase agreements with Airbus in Germany and the UK—two countries where TotalEnergies is rapidly expanding its production base and sales
Stéphane Michel

President of Gas, Renewables & Power at TotalEnergies

"These new contracts illustrate TotalEnergies' ability to offer turnkey, multi-geography 'clean firm power' solutions to support our industrial customers in their energy transition. These agreements, which leverage our integrated portfolio of renewable and flexible assets, will contribute positively to the profitability of our electricity business."

As Airbus continues to make steady progress toward its energy efficiency and emission reduction goals, these power purchase agreements (PPAs) with TotalEnergies demonstrate our long-term commitment to the decarbonization of our sites
Florent Massou dit Labaquère

EVP Operations for Airbus Commercial Aircraft

"These agreements will help Airbus secure reliable, low-carbon energy, supporting our ambition to increase the share of renewable electricity across our sites. Complementing our existing collaboration with TotalEnergies on developing SAF production capacities, these PPAs are part of our global approach to strengthening the resilience of our operations."
