TotalEnergies Aviation: our renewals and new contracts in January 2024

In January, TotalEnergies Aviation renewed a number of contracts, and even welcomed several new ones to its network of general aviation airfields in France. Here's an overview...

Welcome to the TotalEnergies Aviation network :

Hautes Alpes: Gap Tallard and Montdauphin Saint Crépin

Since 3 January 2024, TotalEnergies Aviation has been supplying two new general aviation airfields in the Hautes-Alpes (05): Gap Tallard and Montdauphin Saint Crépin
The Gap-Tallard airfield, managed by the Hautes-Alpes department, is renowned beyond France's borders. Thanks to its exceptional environment, its wide range of aeronautical activities and its incomparable flying conditions, it is open to public air traffic.
The Mont-Dauphin-Saint-Crépin aerodrome is ideally located, offering exceptional weather conditions for gliding, with a winch for easy glider take-off. As well as attracting many aeroplane pilots, the airfield is home to a helicopter company.
We supply both airfields with conventional aviation fuels.
The contract is for a period of four years. The recognition of our expertise, coupled with our differentiating offer, has enabled us to enter into these new partnerships.

They continue in our French network :

Villemarie La Teste-de-Buch aerodrome (Arcachon)

The Villemarie La Teste-de-Buch aerodrome, inaugurated in 1948, records around 40,000 movements a year. It is used for leisure and tourism activities (light aviation, microlight aircraft, helicopters, parachuting and model aircraft).

Following a call for tenders launched in October 2023 by the COBAS (Communauté d'Agglomération du Bassin d'Arcachon Sud), TotalEnergies Aviation has renewed the Occupancy Agreement for a period of 20 years at the Villemarie La Teste-de-Buch (Arcachon) aerodrome.

At the beginning of September 2024, work will begin to replace the 3 aviation fuel storage tanks for a period of 3 months.

During this period, fuel distribution will be ensured by the installation of Mobile Refuelling Stations (SMA).

TotalEnergies Aviation, a long-standing partner of COBAS, has set itself apart through its proximity to customers, its investment programme and its recognised expertise in this type of work, as well as through its innovative aviation electric recharging solution.

Niort airfield - Marais Poitevin

Following a call for tenders launched in August 2023 by the Niort town council, owner and manager of the airfield, TotalEnergies Aviation has renewed the Occupancy Agreement for a period of 15 years at the Niort-Marais Poitevin airfield in the Deux-Sèvres département (79).

At the end of March 2024, work will begin to install a new, larger tank and improve fuel distribution. The work will last a month and a half. During this period, fuel distribution will be ensured by the installation of a Mobile Refuelling Station (MRS).

TotalEnergies Aviation, a long-standing partner of Niort town council, has set itself apart through its proximity to customers, its investment programme and its recognised expertise in this type of work.

The Niort-Marais Poitevin airfield is open to the public all year round and offers a variety of aerial activities. Its constant availability is much appreciated, particularly in the context of public service missions (EMS, etc.), with around 20,000 aircraft movements a year. It attracts clubs from all over France and abroad. In addition, the airfield offers aircraft taxi services for business or personal travel, making journeys to various destinations easier.
