A new fuel available at Lyon-Bron: UL AERO SUPER +
UL AERO SUPER +, an SP 98 type petrol specially for aviation and distributed by TotalEnergies, has been available at Lyon-Bron airport since 17th of March.
This makes Lyon-Bron the fourth airport in France to offer this fuel, after Paris-Saclay-Versailles, Lognes and Perpignan.
What is UL AERO SUPER +?
UL AERO SUPER + is a specific SP98 (road fuel) ethanol-free fuel dedicated to aviation use. It is certified, stored, purged, filtered, transported and distributed in strict compliance with aviation product quality and safety standards.
This unleaded fuel is more economical than Avgas. It is only compatible with ROTAX 912/914 series engines in accordance with EN228.
Will it be implemented at other sites?
Our aim is to deploy 20 airfields by 2025. To make it easier to use, we're offering our customers the option of paying by credit card or directly at the automatic terminal at the refueling station.
